Getting Around

There is no free parking in the immediate vicinity as the apartment is in the CBD. There is metered hourly parking in the surrounding streets, however due to its proximity to both Central Railway Station and Kamppi Bus Interchange, we recommend local public transport, which is fast and convenient (including to Espoo/Otaniemi/Leppävaara, Vantaa/Tikkurila and to & from the airport/ports/rail). Taxis from the airport will cost around 40e, and are considered generally safe. We supply detailed maps and apartment information on booking confirmation, and we're happy to assist if you need travel advice too.

If you are driving or hiring an electric car, there is a power charge point just outside the apartment.

Checking In

Please send us an approximate arrival time. It is essential that we have a contact phone number for you in Finland, so if you will be purchasing a new sim card after your arrival, please ensure you send us the new number as soon as possible.

House Rules

This apartment is in a residential building which allows you to work or relax in the peace and quiet associated with being among homeowners. Accordingly we have a few simple rules to keep our neighbours and future guests happy.

As per Finnish custom please remove your shoes at the door, to protect the flooring from damage.

Strictly no smoking anywhere in the building.
Building "quiet time" rule 10pm - 7am.
While you are welcome to invite people for meals, for work/study purposes or for meetings, you may not host loud parties or disturb other residents at any time.

Need a Visa or Permit to visit?

You should print and submit your original booking confirmation page with your Visa application. The accommodation provider can be listed on your application form as "www.HelsinkiRooms.com". Previous guests have had visiting visas approved by submitting this information to the Finnish authorities using the appropriate application forms. If you require further information you should contact your nearest Finnish embassy.

Unfortunately we are not able to supply personal formal invitation letters for the purposes of moving to Finland or assist further with residency or study applications, and the apartment address is unable to be registered as your permanent address or for receiving mail. Please contact Posti.fi if you need to receive mail during your stay in Helsinki.
